I take great pride in my comprehensive music collection which has been collected over many years. I have approx 15000 titles in my library covering most genres and decades. My music library is updated every month with all the latest music.
All of my music is 100 percent legal with top quality sound reproduction.
You can search my entire music database below and choose your favourite music to be played at your special event.
If there is a song you can’t find in a search, add it to your custom list and I will do my very best to find it for you. Please submit all music requests' at least 7 days before your event.
If I don’t have the music you want to have played, I will spend up to $40 per event to purchase the music.
I don’t know of any DJ companies in south-east Queensland who will do that for you.
There is certainly a lot of music to choose from which has been recorded over the years. You may have musical tastes very specific. The most important thing to consider is your special guests tastes and ages. There is usually a mixed crowd at most functions I perform at and we need to select music that will keep everyone involved. Try to select music that you and your guests would really like to dance to.
Remember when choosing your music that, for an average five-hour event, we can play approx 60 songs. That is why the number of requests you can make is limited. It’s easy to get carried away and end up selecting too many tracks. I always find that asking for requests from your guests on the night always makes for a better party atmosphere.
I’m always happy to talk with you at anytime regarding music. If you would like ethnic music played for the evening, I would be only too happy to discuss this with you.
Some advice for selecting your music - a lot of people can get carried away and only select music that they personally like. This may be great music, but ask yourself is it really danceable? It may be great music for listening to in the car or at home, but if you would like to have an event where everyone is involved and up dancing for the night, then the best thing I have found over the years is to play familiar music that everybody knows. Later on in the evening is usually a good time to play anything you may want that is a little more obscure. Saying that, if you have a crowd that are all have similar tastes in music then playing whatever you like is ok.
I have talked about music you would like to listen and dance to, but another important thing to discuss is music NOT to be played. Every event is different and I need to know beforehand any music that may be sensitive or you may just not like. For example, some people just loathe The Macarena and some people love it. But it is your night, so if you don’t want a certain track played, even if requested, I will not play it.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the music search or anything else regarding music.
